Hello, again hoping to learn a bit more from those more knowledgeable than myself, Is there a way to check which alternator I have fitted? I think I've got to change my pulley , its making strange clunks...it's a 2011 HSE auto with heated screens, just want to check before I bu anything..thanks mike

To my knowledge, my year class came with the 180 amp because of the heated windshield but I have a si6 engine. My understanding is that future models came with 200+ amps for a different engine type. Why not call up any LR parts dept and give them your VIN and let them tell you what options are available with part #s and then go do some comparison shopping?

many thanks..I'm going to change the pulley as its still charging ok , just wanted to get the right pulley and I think i need a special tool...

oh and wheres the best place for a proper fuel filter, I read lots of scary story's about poor quality ones ..
