Newbie

Hi there,

Been lurking here for a few weeks so thought I would post my first post. Surprised

I'll be taking a test drive tomorrow in the Freelander 2 and was wondering if there was anything that I should be aware of.

Any input would be appreciated

Cheers

Hiya,

Biggest problem will be working out what colour to order . . . .

Enjoy the test drive

Regards

Hi Dave - glad to have another Scottish member on board - welcome to the site!

Don't have an FL2 as such so can't offer you any tips, but good luck with the test drive and I can assure you you'll love it - it's a fantastic car.

Thanks for the replies Thumbs Up

I can say that the test drive went very well and I will be the PROUD owner of a new 07 plate FL2, Stornaway Grey GS model next thursday. Mr. Green

Paul, you were right, the hardest choice to make was deciding the colour.

Just to add, the local dealer here in Aberdeen has not had any FL2's returned with any problems yet.

Cheers all Thumbs Up

Dave

Nice colour, Smile

nice car too, Very Happy

Your dealer is a sales person, ask the service desk to see if they have any Twisted Evil

Wouldn't worry about it though, you'll be a proud owner, with a huge grin when you pick it up.

No problems Laughing

Can't have sold many that are driven then. I have a 56 reg 2.2TD4 GS and after 4 attempts the electronic gliches appear to be sorted, areas to watch out for are:

Starting problems
Stereo freeze
Volume of rear parking sensors

Great car though, even better without minor annoying problems in the software. Very Happy
