I dont have a reader to assess fault codes unfortunately. When the AA man checked the fuel pressure values it was bouncing around 270bar which I guess is OK.

Just had a look through the forum and it would appear that the cam timing cannot be 180 out. I guess the injector timing is controlled by the cam position sensor?

You can't have the crank timing 360° out, as that's back to correct again. It's not possible to engage the timing pin in the cam 180° out, so if the pins were locked in, the timing has to be correct. There is a few degrees of adjustment in the bottom pulley, but not enough to prevent compression. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Gone. 2006 Tonga Green i6 HSE. So I am getting about 310 bar just spinning the engine over this did spike up and down so fairly similar to your 340bar figure. Are you saying my pressures are too low? Obviously I cannot give you running figures as it wont start.

OK thanks will check RPM readings when cranking to see if the crank sensor is working OK. MAP sensor was bunged up with gunge when i removed it (i cleaned it) so will try this disconnected also.
