Remove paint scuff advice

I have stupidly grazed a white van on the flat lip over the front wheel arch. My FL2 is metallic black so presumably has a lacquer top coat? Any advice Gents on how to remove the white scuff?

Can I use WD40 on lacquer?

Thanks for any advice.

You can use a polish with a mild abrasive suitable for metallic paint. I use Super resin polish on mine, which gets out minor scratches and removes paint transfer too. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Super Resin is made by Autoglym. Its a good brand and a very versatile polish which protects paint as well like a wax. It's mildly abrasive which should take out the transferred white marks.
There are more aggressive cutting compounds available but try that initially.
It's a good general purpose 'polish' and a one coat application should last several months. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Autoglym as suggested above. I forgot to type the manufacturer.
It's available at Halfords.
