Hi all,

I am having my Freelander 2 repaired from a small damage caused when parked by another car rear ending mine. So, inside the rear fender, on each side, is this connector/sensor/? hanging down.
What is that?

Does it have tyre pressure monitoring? If not it's for the tyre pressure monitor receiver antenna. You'll have then in the front too. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Parking sensors? Common sense isn't very common.

No, I have already factory mounted parking sensors in the front and rear bumper.
So, I guess, that Nodge68 is right, They could be tyre pressure sensors.

Although I think normally, they look differently and have another tip, close to the wheel. These sits inside the rear bumper, fixed to the inner wheel arch rear part.
Hmm...

I should note, that on each side of the car, this strange sensor or what ever it is, is clipped into the inner rear wheel arch, and hidden behind the rear bumper.

They sound like the sensors for the tyres pressure transmitters in each wheel, clipped to the back of the wheel arch liners
