Spotted the £70K Craddock Freelander 2 on Ebay.
I have contacted the seller who is vehemently denying it's the same vehicle. However, as it was a complete "One Off", it would be a massive coincidence that someone just happened to build another to the exact same specification as Johnathan Craddock, including the flappy paddle gearbox, the recovered quilted Evoque seats, BBlock body kit and that bonnet,white dials, red seatbelts etc, etc, and even having the exact same faults and had somehow kept it "under the radar" !
It went through several guises in quick succession during the 2015-16 period and was most famous for it's Yiannimize red wrap.
The last time I saw it, it was looking rather forlorn at the back of Craddock's workshop with running issues, being in it's original black having had it's wrap removed before going off to auction .

That looks absolutely hideous.
I looked at the photos first and marvelled at the lack of taste and wondered who was responsible for this. Then I read the advert. KAHN, the Bradford butcher, should have known 🤮 Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Bob, the only thing Kahn on this vehicle is the white instrument dials. In it's first incarnation,it also had Kahn alloys.
The current owner knows nothing about it, hence his Kahn references. I sent him several pics of it when it was red, including the interior which 100% matches, but he came back with "That's not mine mate" .
Someone with more money than sense will win this motor and get that sinking feeling they've just bought a lemon.

That's what I mean. He claims it to be Kahn, but it's not.

The only actual Kahn parts on the whole vehicle are the dials and the pedals. The steering wheel is from Powerful UK.

This is a Kahn spec Freelander 2.







They used the original HST body kit with silver highlights, new lower grill, side vents and new 20" alloys. Kahn never actually produced their own body kit for the Freelander 2,like they did for the Range Rovers.

Here's a YouTube video advertising the BBlock bodykit from Ukraine, the one fitted to the Ebay vehicle.



There was a member on this forum called OFU who installed the BBlock kit on his Freelander 2,which you can see if you search his posts.
There is also a website DRIVE2.RU where OFU shows the original body kit being test fitted and later updated.

I also have the LRO Magazine article which highlights all of the JC modifications, which are identical to the Ebay car, less the red Yiannimize wrap, private plate and wheels. The only mention of Kahn in that article being the dials and pedals .The base vehicle also being a black 2007 HSE.
It's not just a coincidence, it's the same vehicle.
