but true You can go to any garage to get this done with JLR warranty, just needs to be any approved VAT garage and to let warranty people know. |

Funny when we are 20 we think anyone over 40 is old, then when we are 55 we still think we are young. I hate to say at 55 we are nearer the end then the beginning. |

In the interest of balance my daughter was 19 when she and I spent the whole of last July driving her mum’s FL2 throughout Iceland’s interior (no tarmac) wading rivers, boulder scrabbling, black lava ash trails and fine deep sand wastelands. Daughter piloted the FL2 through all that without hesitation. Even washed it down most evenings. Icelandic fuel stations nearly alway have a free car wash bay which consists of as many litres of cold water you need plus hoses and brushes. Touring tip - when in Iceland take 2 extra sets of wipers - blown sand and lava ash kill your wiper blades. |

I know a lot of younger people don’t even have a car, with the cost of insurance parking and all the other costs it’s just as cheap to use Uber. |

I remember opening screw top jars many many many years ago and saying then "I wonder how the old people manage". Our great granddaughter in her middle teens fetched me a bolognaise sauce jar to open last evening. I managed to open it with only one swear word, must be all the nut and bolt removal working on the freeloader that helped |
