Truma Inlet

My wife, & her dad, went up to the caravan on Saturday afternoon
Not long after, I had a phone-call telling me there’s no water

It seems that the Truma body mounted inlet has cracked (recent frosts, & water pooled in the inlet?)

I went to Wandahome to try & get one (they had one, at a cost!!)

The crack was where the thin white pipe joins the larger diameter section

I went up with it yesterday morning, I was going up anyway, with the new (replacement) awning
Daughter, & her b/f, also came up in his works-van, he brought his jet-washer
Yes, it was turned down, so as not to penetrate any window surrounds/seals

I was going to travel up with them, but went from home, with the awning still in its boxes

All done, wife had left a couple of minutes ahead of me, daughter & b/f already gone

I did that Water Housing replacement last weekend on site.
External Shower port decided to let go and had water flowing out of the Van.
Not to bad a job really took about 1 Hr at most to change it and get everything primed up again 👍👍

We got caught out with the outside plug-in shower freezing and cracking. We drained down etc but that bit sits lower then the drain off pipe. It froze and cracked, it’s now blanked off as never used it
