Mine is a diesel, the warning beeps are from the Ipack, but only the post 2007 Ipack IIRC. They could also be market specific. My 2009 MY has peeps that occur for several warnings. If the snowflake symbol appears (around 4°C and below) then there's a double beep. If the screen wash level drops to the low level warning light on the dash, there's a double beep. If the fuel level drops to the low level warning light, there's a double beep. These beeps occur at starting if the issue is present, or if they occur while driving. Oddly if the engine coolant drops low enough for there to a warning on LCD, there's no beep, which to me seems an oversight. I'd consider the coolant level being low worthy of a beep, but it seems LR weren't. There's also a very annoying chime while the key is in the dock and the driver door is open. I'm English not American, I know the key is in the dock, I put it there. I definitely don't need reminding of it. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car. 2009 Rimini Red SE TD4. Have you also done another hard reset yet ? Like I said earlier when I had this problem as well as taking off the sensor and cleaning it, I hard to do the hard reset to resolve the issue. 2007 TD4 XS The work horse that earns its up keep

Milo it looks like i will have to revert to the hard reset, after volumetric sensor was removed and cleaned, he two bleeps on pressing the open on the fob still remains. The volumetric sensor was full of debris, blown in from when the sunroof is open presumably. As stated in other posts you just pull the sensor downwards carefully. 1 Put it on a clean paper towel undo the two 15 torx screw's and lift, slightly open the sides with your fingers and he board will come out. 2 3 4 5 Debris from the sensor. 6 Also recovered a couple of stickers. 7 blow it out, a small brush was used and the electrical connector was given a quick blast with contact cleaner. 8 The board refitted and the sensor reinstated to the roof of the FL2 9 So hard reset today sometime, below will need doing if I'm correctly advised. Reset as follows: 1.Close the window fully. 2.Release the switch, then lift it to the close position and hold for 1 second. 3.Repeat the procedure on each window. 4. maybe the clock? |

I wouldn't put it past for someone to design a system with beeps to indicate a fault with the beeps. Jules |

Rover & Landrover have known to do complicated things for no real reason Today my intention was to do the hard reset today, but when checking the connections to the battery there seems to be some wire going from the earth to the positive then onto the main loom. Shown in these photos below. 1 2 3 4 5 So therefore would the positive & negative if removed off the battery poles, be joined anyway without me touching them together for the 30seconds Anyone else have so many connection to their battery. |

That's part of the battery monitor system. It has to connect to the positive and negative at the battery, to eliminate losses in the earth cable to the body.
