Unfortunately I think she'd get very little for a FL2 with no working engine. Worth more as parts probably.

A second hand engine costs £500-£800, and takes about 5 hours to replace. There's a chap on Landyzone who was able to take his out and back in in about 3 hours, after he had various issues with the replacement.

It’s worth what it’s worth on the day. People tend to think what would I be earning in the same time at work or working for someone, if they can earn more doing something clean, warm and easy then they will do that rather then gamble on something harder. I don’t know many people who see working on repairs as much fun, they would rather pay for something and move on. That seems to be more normal nowadays. |

Don't hear of many engine failures on these.

Is it worth asking someone like Trent’s they pay and collect cars to break , that would give you a price to work with as who ever buys it will have to transport it away. |

You haven't mentioned if it's a Td or Sd just out of interest. |
