I’ve been lucky and fitted a heated steering wheel to my Freelander 2 so I have the old wheel and clock spring for sale. It’s come off a 2015 SE Tech and is in great condition as can be seen in the pics. If your wheel is a bit tatty or your switch packs don’t work then this could sort it out for you. I believe the basic wheel is the same as on the D4. Not sure the switch packs are the same though. This will only work on a facelift Freelander I think.

The spigot on the Freelander wheel is different to the D4 one so afraid this won't fit a D4.

The good news is that it looks like you may have a clock spring there for a heated wheel? - it certainly appears to have the small socket which looks the same as the one the heating wiring plugs into on the D4, does it have the pins in the socket?

It’s a standard clock spring. I replaced it with a heated one.

An unashamed bump for this. Replacement buttons or clock springs are fetching more. Found it in the loft the other day and it reminded me to bump it!
