I wouldn't think so. Voice commands were only just being thought of when the audio system in the Freelander was made. It doesn't even do BT streaming, just BT phone calls.

Didn’t bother with any Amazon device, just used a Bluetooth receiver with a built in microphone plugged into a power socket and connected to the 3.5mm aux input. Connected my iPhone to the Bluetooth and whatever you’re able to do with the phone just worked. |

Thanks Bob, the car already has factory fitted hands free for phone, will this cause any conflict with the fitted mics? |

No idea. Mine was only a GS so didn’t even have a decent speaker setup and not even a usb socket. |
