Crankshaft posiiton Sensor Trigger Wheel - Lr010244

Hi

I believe Cortico is the original maker. So look at one made by them. Also there are two types depending on year just the same as there are two types of Crank Position Sensor

Hi
After a week to get the new sensor trigger ( original has been updated and no longer available)

Put it all back together and went for a run no problem, old sensor fitted.

Drove around yesterday then all stopped again 0335 0336 codes.

Tried new sensor cleared codes and still the same problem, car not starting.

Guessing now its a loose / broken wire ?

Are there any suggestion where I might find broken wire?

Thanks

Check connectors first. Nodge has a good post about that

Adding he is Nodge68

Hi

Just read the post at

https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic38596.html

My car is still not starting throwing up codes P0335 P0336

Traced three wire back to main loom going into ECU and passed continuity test.

Checked all wiring and no sign of cuts or breaks.

Fitted non Eurocar Part supplied CPS and tried old one still no start.

Had to update belt pulley and crankshaft trigger wheel with newer version as older type trigger wheel wasn't available.

Should I use the LR056028 sensor now the trigger wheel had been updated instead of the LR000681.

They both look identical?

Any thoughts?

I would match the trigger wheel with the sensor. They are both different. You need a matching pair.

Hi Folks

Car now going again.

Lots of small things made this a nightmare.

Crank shaft sensor failed, 1st sensor sent out didn't fit plug, 2nd sensor fitted with force both were wrong replacement sensor.
Correct for chassis number but crank trigger wheel was already changed so needed newer sensor.

Next sensor didn't work, so checked the wiring, all ok.

Went back at it today and discovered pin bent on 3rd sensor, straightened pin wiggled wiring and all now working.

I had to cable tie lock on sensor to keep it in.

New LR sensor planned and going to replace plug on wiring as per link below

https://www.freel2.com/forum/topic38596-15.html

Thanks for the help.
