Have you tried restarting your phone so that you install any outstanding updates.

Otherwise this is a guide to what to do.

With phones that have been released in the past few years the system in the car does not fully recognise them, what you need to do is link the phone to the car not the car to the phone.

I had the same issue with my iPhone. MY13 HSE Lux Santorini Black Gone

It's not the phone, it's more likely an error in the BT link somewhere.

My Note 9 connects within seconds of getting in mine, which is how any Samsung should work. I'd clear all phones from the register, and try linking it again. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

It is all to do with the versions of Bluetooth. The new phone, which won’t be on the Land Rover list of approved devices, has a very new, low power Bluetooth implementation that doesn’t always broadcast its presence to the car, which has an old power hungry version of Bluetooth, which expects linked devices to alway broadcast their presence. The car is only linking when the phone broadcasts its presence which it only does when it is pairing or gets a I’m here broadcast which the car doesn’t send out.
There are dongles which plug in to a lighter socket that link to your phone via Bluetooth and transmit to the car radio or link to the auxiliary input. Had one that dealt with phone or media from mobile and played out via car speakers. Worked fine once initial pairing was done.

I've used Motorola G5, G6 (Wife's), G7, G31 (Wife's), C31 (bought this last one, this year $128 as a temporary measure as I had problems with my Sony phone, but not with the car), Sony Xperia 10. All work with the car. They all also Bluetooth with my 2007 Mac Mini computer as well.

P.S. The C31 is not a bad phone, but I prefer the smaller Sony. Phones are getting too large, that's why I switched from Motorola. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
