United Kingdom 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Baltic Blue

try & get genuine filter.
2nd, spent 47 years working on diesels. rule of thumb is a minimum of 20ltrs in a tank just to start.
I never ever allow mine to drop below a quarter.
seen too many HP-pumps knackered due to air coming up with the fuel when its low.
the diesel is the only thing that lubricates a pump!

As an example a document years ago was sent to all ford garages that if a Mondeo was cranked for more than 10 seconds without firing after a filter change the pump would sufferer damage and they did. Jaguar x-type sport gone
Jaguar x-type 2.2d sport one of my best cars ever sadly gone
Freelander 2 GS auto 2008 most unreliable ever ! gladly gone
Freelander 2 GS manual 2013 only time will tell !
