WATER LEAK / OIL SLEAK

Check this out ... Shocked

5000 miles later on the dial...

1. Spray water with a moderate pressure hose pipe on the rear window just arround the stop light .... does it leak in side - mine trickled down the window?

2. Have alook under the car. Do you see any oil stains on the engine base... also what colour is the underbellie of the engine?

Please let me know ,,,,  FREEL-2-LOOPY

England 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e HSE Manual Galway Green

I took my FL2 through a 'jet-wash' last week and sprayed the high pressure jet over all the windows and doors. There were no leaks through any!
I have not noticed any oil-leaks or smell of oil after nearly 5000 miles of driving on a variety of roads.

The Factory has a problem apparently with a water leaks through the tailgate hinge mounting on the roof, various mods are being tried. folks may not notice this at first until it comes through the head lining, which will then be stained.
