I think now looking at them again, they may be correct type but have rusted internally and so the taper no longer spins. The socket is a very tight fit on a couple of them so clearly there is an issue. I will order a set of genuine ones then I know I’ve got the right thing. |

Yes I found the 21mm socket has got tight - I found another that is slightly larger that suffices - IIRC its a Whitworth from my large collection of sockets that Im very unlikely to ever use again. Jules |

You can actually buy a combination 21mm and 21.5mm socket, specifically for this issue with swelling nuts.

The only vehicles I know that use ball seat are Hondas - maybe other Jap makers do also?
