United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Santorini Black
hdc error

Recently replaced rear shocks springs , trailing arms etc.
when driving traction control warning came on . Had 4 wheel alignment done and I though t that would clear it. Cleared the codes but still faulty . Have done battery reset and checked and cleaned wheel sensors.
Any help appreciated.

The above suggests a problem with the steering wheel position sensor, which will have a knock-on effect with the traction control system (which needs to know where the wheels are pointing).

Definitely the steering angle sensor going by the diagnostic. Check for wiring or plug faults to the sensor, which is behind the wheel.
Don't replace it unless you have the diagnostic equipment to calibrate it, and don't try to calibrate it if the steering wheel isn't absolutely straight ahead when driving straight.

The oh and the driver's door lock is about to fail too, so replace that before it stops working, preventing the door from opening. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.
