United Kingdom 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Auto Santorini Black

It looks great, hope you're as pleased with it as I was with mine. The colour match is super, you would never know that they aren't OEM. So again Thumbs Up to our Italian friends. Was GS TD4 Auto, Privacy, Santorini with Tundra & Alpaca, Cold Climate Pack. Traded for Discovery Sport HSE Auto.

I notice the extending one doesn't have a leather covering over the hinge. but that's not a big issue At work

Romania 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Izmir Blue

Guess that the leather hinge would have got in the of the sliding pad.
Anyway I am very happy with the armrest as it has just the right height for me and with the pad extended even makes gear changing more confortable. Indeed the color is the same as the car's leather. Spain 2008 Freelander 2 TD4 S Manual Stornoway Grey

Hi,

I just got my new Freelander 2 S Spanish Version with ebony cloth and was wondering if anybody knows which armrest fits best.

The black fabric?

Or the Dark grey fabric?

Thanks a lot.

Chicken & Barton thanks for your opinion. Probably I will choose the black fabric I think it seems to fit good with Land Rover ebony cloth.

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4 XS Manual Santorini Black

This is just what I was looking for as I think its a bit of an oversight by LR not to include one.

So firstly, the last post on this was Nov 2008 and looking at the website link the price has risen quite a bit - I guess exchange rates don't help....but it will be well over £100 by the time you have finished so before I order one, how good do people feel the quality is?

Some of you will have had them a while now so are they good quality??

But my main question is about payment i.e. how has everyone paid for these - paypal or what - on their site it asks for a country but I am b*ggerd if I can see the UK on the list and the other thing its all in Italian......so what is the best way please in peoples experience?!?

Also how did you get the discount?

Any help on that would be appreciated......

Cheers

Nick

Hi,

I just received mine today. The funny thing is that I don't yet have my FL2 (will be collected Saturday 27 June) Laughing

I just wanted to make sure I am able to get the armrest in as fast as possible.... I agree, is one of the big missing standard items in the FL2. I wouldn't know how to hold my right arm without an armrest Embarassed Rolling with laughter

A couple of answers to your questions:
- I just send the company a mail explaining that I was a member of Freel2.com and asked for a quote
- they immediately send me a quote, applying a little (it's not huge) discount.
- I confirmed back my order via mail, including my adress and phonenumber
- Immediately after I paid through Paypal
- Next day got a confirmation and thanks for order and payment
- Day after got email that armrest was send
- Received the rest today

It only took 5 days from order to receipt. Perfect service. Thumbs Up

Cannot give you a view yet on quality because it's not fitted yet Rolling with laughter FL2 S TD4_e, Santorini Black, with towbar Smile

@ Qique

just save some money coming months and fit the real ones

i fitted two armrests at:

Snel Autobekleding
Kuiperbergweg 6
1101 AG Amsterdam Z.O.
tel. : 0031 20-6911981 contact : Raquel or Gerard.

The one you ordered was too low to be comfortable in my opinion
