Hi, sorry to hear of your problems. You’ve put 2002 td4 in the title of your post. This forum is for the Freelander 2 which was built from late 2006 based on a design when Land Rover were owned by Ford rather than the Freelander 1. I don’t think that there is one part of the Freelander 1 that was carried over into the Freelander 2 build. Certainly not the engine, clutch and gearbox even though the engine carries the designation TD4.
