Thought I would share my experience of using Wynn's Turbo Cleaner 200ml can on my wife VW touran.
Had being haaving issues with the VW going into limp mode due to over boosting when on motorway,
Done my research and it pointed towards turbo vains possibly sticking. In the VW the turbo is an absoute pain to get to, a full days work to remove and replace. The Mechanic said try this stuff - he had good results with it.
Removed the MAF sensor and squirted the can in to the gap.
The result were very good, car feels loads more responsive - almost sporty.
Was wondering if anyone on here has used it on there FL2?

From what the instructions say, you need to do an oil system flush and the change the oil and filter after using this stuff!

I should have added that after experiencing a turbo overboost issue - fault code P0234 - after clearing the code I added a bottle of Wynn's Turbo Cleaner to 50 litres of fuel in the tank and I’d have to say some 200 miles later that the car is definitely smoother and quieter, and even my wife, who wouldn’t ordinarily notice these sorts of things, commented that the car was driving very nicely. And so far, no recurrence of the fault code 🤞🤞🤞

I have heard horror stories of all the carbon being dumped in the DPF ? I hope this is not the case as I might use this if need??? 2013 FL2 XS.

The carbon has to go somewhere, simple conservation of matter. You might get it hot enough to form CO or CO2 which is what it will happen if the dpf does it’s job. Not forming the deposit is preferable or using the product in fuel so it works over a longer period is going to be better than adding it to the air intake over a matter of minutes.

Maybe that’s why Wynn's say an engine flush and oil and filter change is necessary, although apparently only when used on diesel engines. The full instructions can be found here - https://wynns2021.wpengine.com/products/TDS/W28679_TDS_EN.pdf

I think if ever I needed it I would use Forte as it goes in the fuel. 2013 FL2 XS.

Wynn's are confusing - they have two 'Turbo Cleaners'. One is sprayed into the inlet manifold and requires an engine flush and oil and filter change after use; and the other is simply added to the fuel in the tank. That’s the one I used and it definitely seems to have made the engine quieter and smoother.

The 500ml bottle will treat 500 litres.

I see that "converts" ordinary diesel into super diesel.
would there be a point in me using it, as I only use Ultimate or V Power?
if not then my limp mode issues my be down to something else.  DAVE.

The Archoil product doesn’t really seem to promote itself as a turbo cleaner but more as an upgrade additive for regular fuel. I would use Ultimate reasonably regularly - not all the time - but adding the Wynn's Turbo Cleaner to the fuel - not the aerosol for the intake - has certainly improved things. I would absolutely suggest you give it a try if you think your limp mode is caused by turbo problems as mine was.
