Thanks for info…ours looks a little different to that but will take a look for the pipe and check the clip.

The organ pipes were deleted on newer versions of the inlet tract but the comments about changing the clip are still valid. There is also a smaller pipe venting the cam cover that can leak on the bend to the right of the organ pipes prior to the concertina section. I also had the concertina section come away from the inlet pipe work on a modded joint of the dissimilar materials. |

Was there not also an issue mentioned in previous threads of a problem with the seal between engine compartment and the driver's footwell around the steering column, letting engine fumes come into the cabin?

Bossbob, yes but he says he used to have a Defender, so any vehicle is going to seem quiet! 2005 D3 2.7 Auto
