I get down on my knees and pray to the Great Landrover god that my rear crank seal lasts as long as the car |

Having recently been through turbo-related issues, with a couple of bouts of black smoke and no power, I wonder if the module that controls the variable veins in the turbo is playing up. In my case it was the actuator arm completely separated from the module, but if the module was mal-functioning (or the veins sticking?) then you might get similar symptoms.
