Hello, I would like some sort of music thing that I can plug into my Aux socket..I want to have my cds on a machine thing like the old ipods , I have an old one with no music on it but cant seem to join it with itunes...Have just spent HOURS trying it......is there another thing (dont know what there called)that allows me to have all my cds loaded into it, I know not making much sense , oh and its got to be cheap..I'm getting fed up with loads of cds rattling about my car....thanks mike |

The generic term for a ipod is a mp3 player. Lots to choose from on amazon etc but I cannot recommend a specific one as I just use my phone. FL2 2007 2.2d Auto SE. Baltic Blue. |

Once you’ve ripped the cd’s to the music folder you attach the mp3 player to your pc and COPY the music on to it. Copy, because you can play the music on the pc if it has speakers or headphones.

Alternatively, if you have a smartphone , spend £10 a month and open a Spotify account . Stream just about any music ever recorded without the hassle of ever owning the CD or ripping files . Even an old codger like me was converted to this . The possibilities are infinite . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

I Think my head just exploded....seem to be going round in circles ...All I need is a way to listen to music in my car via the aux socket.....I like the idea of spotify but I've not got a mobile phone, I have internet at home (sky) , I think I need to stream music what ever that means...as you might of guessed I'm not that clued up on modern tech....

Buy a bluetooth MP3 jack and set your car system to "aux input". |

I listen to my music from memory sticks. Amazing how many tracks you can get on one.
