My set of Avon ZX7s lasted about 10,000 miles - probably could have got a little more out of three of them but not much at their wear rate.

Now with Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 235/55R19. (Fuel Efficiency A, Wet Grip C, Noise Rating A-68dB*). Happy with them thus far. In fairness, they have only been on the car for the equivalent of one summer season so too early to judge on longevity but they are fairly quiet.

Only a couple of months before the winter wheels go back on the car… where did the last four months go already?

* Noise rating A according to my invoice but looking at them now, they are shown variously as B or C depending on who is selling them.

Can you swap sides for the tyres, in old age they get noisy due to sipes wearing thinner & feathering of edges. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!
