air bag light on,foxwell diadnostic tool showed fault codes with 2 air bags,1 being seat belt tensioner, the other, a side air bag.the terminal plugs connecting box under the drivers seat uses a 7 mm bolt to pull the connectors together.the bolt screws in to a brass nut fixed in the plastic, this had been overtightened and pulled out of the plastic ,so when seat was moved it worked the connections loose.simply force the brass nut back into the hole, tighten screw while pushing the top of the connecting block untill its fully home, but just gently tighten screw, hope this helps some one out there . job done |

Hi Sid what I would do is to check the other front seat and put a cable tie through to double secure it, a popular fault with many of today’s cars. |

Yes, the airbag light is often (usually even?) a loose connection.

Mines LHD, if anyone moves the passenger seat the air bag light comes on, to turn it of I have to slide the the seat forwards and back a few times quite hard. I assumed loose/dodgy connection, Thanks for this, I'll have a look. |
