Has anyone any experience of getting an auto gearbox service, i.e. flush and refill, not just a dump, done using the LAUNCH UK machine - https://www.launchtech.co.uk/atf-machine/

Is there any substance to the view that one shouldn’t go for a flush and refill as doing so will loosen crud that may have gathered in awkward corners which will then get into the passages in the gearbox and cause blockage problems?

Why? What will that tell me about using a service that uses the LAUNCH UK equipment?

An easy to DIY alternative.

I've flushed hundreds of gearboxes, and never had an issue

A flush should be seen as a service procedure, and not a magic fix to cure a problem

You still have to remove the undertray to check the level is correct
