I haven't seen one of these units with the cover off, but most likely the screen is attached to the circuit board with a flat cable and connector.

I've just had another look at your picture and now believe that the problem lies with the graphics, and so is the circuit board or the power supply getting to the board and/or screen.

the 'lines' are caused by 'aging' Zebra strips between the display PCB and the display Glass I use to sell LCDs from a Japanese manufacture. OEM Sale Manager |
