I'm taking the roof rails off of my metropolis so they will be for sale quite soon. Only problem i have is getting hold of the inserts/bolts etc to put back in. If anyone knows where i can get these from it would be very much appreciated

Would these parts be on mine currently? I’d be happy to exchange the necessary parts if that’s the case.

Same part number for both cars so your should fit mine but landrover tell me that there are only 4 parts but mine has 6. 2 front 2 rear and 2 in the middle. how may inserts has your car got please?

You.can get all the replacement bolts and clips from land rover, I removed my rails a couple of months ago, you need 6 special bolts to replace the ones that come out, also 6 plastic push in clips., you can also get some of the plastic trims, but there are 2 that are on back order.

Sadly, Rich was unable to remove his roof bars, as the bolts that fit into the roof were so firmly stuck that it wasn’t possible to undo them without risking damage to the roof 🙁
(Not everyone uses the same sealant when the bars are originally fitted).

I tried to get new ones from land rover, but they are on back order and have been for months.
I still have my roof rails and cross bars, also all the plastic trims for the roof when rails fitted

Do I understand correctly that you no longer need the rails and cross bars, as I still need to source some cross bars, or have I misunderstood?

Do I also understand that you have the drilled roof finishers and want the replacement, undrilled, variety?

I do still have the rails, cross bars, and the plastic trims, I don't need them anymore, I have got my new roof trims.
The feet for the rails do need painting tho

While I managed to source some unused roof rails, I’m still on the look out for sime cross bars to buy if yours are available.

I have the cross bars, I don't think they are genuine land rover, I will go and dig them out and check them tomorrow and let you know
