Bad luck NP,

Given the agro you are having with that motor you're staying remarkably good humoured about it Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

You must be close to doing what the guy with the RRSport did recently parking it outside the dealer ship with a very long list of faults written down the side of the car.

I hope your dealer is taking good care of you !!! Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!

past caring about the cars faults, its become part of what i expect

I'll be ring my dealer in the morning and asking for a print out of all my trips to them, and taking it up with LR customer services....... so no doubt that will lead to no where...... apart from a trip to a new brand of car Rolling Eyes

my dealer, were on stop with LRA, so it has gone to another dealer Guy Salmon Leeds, so i will be speaking to them tomorrow as well Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

This where it gets very messy, when one particular dealer's problems with LR start to have an impact on customers. I'm sure that LR will say they are doing the best for you, but I'm not sure you will see it that way.

As I said earlier, LR need to be in touch with customers directly to find out how their dealers are doing, then act accordingly. it seems they don't have the appetite (or bottle) to do that; probably because they know what the answers will be and they (LR) haven't got the drive and resources to deal with the problems they might identify.

LR are relying on brand loyalty to override the practical problems of ownership; that may work for so long but it is not a sustainable business model. Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!

Just spoke to my dealers service manager, they are going to fax me my list when the cars has been in with them.

I asked if they was on stop with LRA, and he said they have never been on stop with them. Confused So looks like LRA or at least the recovery truck was not telling the truth.

Speaking to GS, Leeds they said they can only look at what the car is booked in for (ie. the temp fault) ...
and not the other stuff thats come to light like the fact my handbrake doesn't work on the slightest of slopes, or the whooshing noise that my clutch/engine makes when reversing up a hill when i dip the clutch.

So I ring back my dealer and they tell me that GS can add anything I think is at fault on to the list to look at whilst its there

npinks - LR Customer Service are a pile of Censored ! I had 9 months of grief with my FL2, after getting it fixed after 6 attempts I sent a fully detailed letter to them all i got back was a letter basically saying "well its alright now aint it whats the problem?"

On a scale of 1 to 10 I would rate LR Customer Service -10, absolutely no interest whatsoever in assisting their customers and one of the main reasons why when I come up for renewal in 18 months time I will be looking elsewhere!
