2007 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Stornoway Grey

I'm with black tiger, same sort of thing happened to me on a 2007MY. I bought a CTEK to keep it charged as a working spare in garage. I just swap batteries every so often. So I have 2 batteries always kept in good nic ... Smile

Hi guys, someone who has sdd and agm battery can check via sdd, what value it has on the battery setting, I would like to check if it is possible to mount an agm for those who do not have the start and stop

Yes that is possible, though probably pointless unless you do lots of very short journeys in your FL2

This may help...

Yes an AGM will work but you will need to reset the the battery module

I have videoed my DC clamp meter while starting. It only takes a second to start with a decent battery. 238 amps for the 2.0L petrol engine.

It is a lot of amps but it is for a very brief time, so it's not actually much energy.

I will have a guess, about 280 amps for the diesel. You will need more energy for the glow plugs in cold weather. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Thanks guys, currently I do short trips for work, I also read that the AGM battery resists stresses and inclinations better. I installed an agm, from sdd I carried out the "change battery" program with a "not approved" result, so I tried to activate battery monitoring via the sdd, no error but always a "not approved" result Some idea? The diesel engine has much more compression than the petrol, it needs more thrust.
