I have an HSE manual and the HDC works only in first gear as per the manual but the increase / decrease control functionality does not work after a software upgrade . Does someone else have this problem and how this functionality (increase / decrease) works .

The increase / decrease speed control functionality from the cruise control buttons.

We have a three week old GS. I tried out the HDC speed contol and also found it not working. I guess the car has the latest software?? and that another version will be out soon

Mine works, but the increase in speed when you have the HDC on in 1st.

press the cruise control + button it is very very slight.

press it enough and it does increase, S.....L.....O.....W.....L.....E.....Y

If its like the D3 I think it is a very slight increase up and down. Press the button rapidly up and then down on a good long slope and see if you can feel the difference as to when the ABS kicks in.

npinks - Yous works on a strayed road or you need a slope and did you have the software upgrade or not?

Worked first time i used it, I have had software upgrades for other things though

I have done some further testing and I have notice that the speed increase/decrease functionality from the steering wheel is not working in first gear with my car (manual HSE).

Now the strangest thing is that when in second gear the computer displays that the HDC is not working in this gear but the HDC functionality is working (e.g. the ABS is working) and the speed increase/decrease functionality from the steering wheel is working when the slope is steep in second gear.

Any comment on how it should be working properly from off road experts it will be appreciated.
