Boot leaking

Morning everybody!!! I've noticed whilst washing my car water seems to leak into the boot and drop onto the load liner when it's pulled across. Upon further investigation with the boot open I noticed that one of the two rubber flexi pipes that take electrics to the boot has been sitting on the rubber boot lid seal. Has anybody else had this problem? Should I go and moan to the dealers ??

lots of early FL2 had leaking book

Seaping in somewhere and dripping or in my case running water into the boot

My dealer fix it, IIRC it was coming in via the rear brake light Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Mines a 07 56 plate, to me it looks like the seals been squashed. What do you call an early model?

I had the boot leak also, and as npinks says, Rear Brake Light Seal on mine was leaking also, just removed it put a bit of silicon sealant on it and put it back. Or go to the stealer and leave it with them for a day to look at it then order the part and another day to fit it. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior

Had the same thing. Dealer 'fixed it' no idea how but don't get the water running down inside glass mark now....

Had this same issue myself, but thankfully it wasn't a major leak. Dealer confirmed it, and then repaired it a few weeks ago by re-sealing the rear window. The dealer sent it out to a windshield place to have the work done, and so far so good. Fingers crossed...
