Sat nav screen fault - intermittent at the moment!

Morning all, has any body got an idea on the following. I started the 2014 FL2 up yesterday and the sat nav screen started to behave very weirdly. The screen divided its self in to two haves - black and white - and then started to flash alternately very fast. The radio, cd etc still work in the background but you can’t see them. It stayed like this for about 25 mins until I stopped to get fuel on returning to the car it booted up normally. Very odd? All advice greatly received. Regards M.

Plenty of recorded Sat Nav problems on Forum

If it's a one-off and it occurred on first start on a cold morning, then OK once car (and battery) were warm, then I would suspect low voltage during the electronic 'boot up' period gave you a random fault.

Check battery condition and give it a quick charge, FL2 XS SD4 Auto 2010 2012-2017 (21k - 91k miles) (MY2011)
FL2 Metropolis SD4 Auto 2014 2017- (16k - 77k+ miles) (MY2015)
Metro in its 11th Year of (Extended) LR Warranty / Full LR Service History
(Expensive, but Trouble/Worry free - hopefully?)
