I can't use the AP 200 anymore as I let the subscription run out.
I may be able to get the static reading from the Icarsoft but that would be all at the moment as I have to inlet manifold off to replace the glow plugs. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

Don't appear to have a voltage value for the oil temperature sensor on the scan tool but just sitting here with air temperature at 12 deg the oil temperature sensor is showing 283.74 deg. As Alex said, this must be a fault with the scan tool otherwise the car would have a hissy fit and throw a load of codes.
Pity I didn't know this before I changed it. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

Both my tools the Gap and the AP200 are showing the same temperature values. I didn't know the AP200 has a subscription. my apps were free to download

Autel let's you pick one free manufacturer when you place the order. Then you can purchase additional manufacturers at additional cost but these only last a year then you need to renew. The original one lasts for the life of your device. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !

Just tidying up my post.
Managed to get the oil temperature sensor read correctly using SDD, it appears to function correctly. When cold both oil and coolant temperature sensors show the same reading's. After starting the engine, they both increase accordingly with the oil sensor lagging behind slightly as it should.
Therefore my Autel AP200 and Icarsoft CR max cannot correctly interpret the oil temperature sensor.
