Came across this on the bay of E. Apart from what must be a rare colour ( not sure whether I like it or not), check out the tailgate. "...repaired fully to manufacturing standards". By who ??? Apart from fitting the wrong handle for the year, the main advert states it's a HSE.

I'd guess the 'repairer' has just flung a breakers yard tailgate on and blown it in to match.

I am surprised that a section of the bumper bar was not cut away to fit extra letters! Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

I think I’d be underneath that having a look at the real ‘ bumper ‘ - the steel section underneath the plastic panel . If the seller has popped on a GS backend ,there has been a rear end shunt , and not replacing the steel work is certainly possible , probably save £50 from the breakers . I also know that after a rear bump there can be creases you can’t get rid of under the tail lights . 2009 GS Auto Zermatt Silver - Sold June 21 after 10 years of ownership

It's OK, it says 'certified used' in the advert!

The chrome strip on the tailgate of my 2013 goes right the way across and doesn’t have Land Rover on it |

The full width tailgate handle and revised front bumper were introduced with the Model Year 2011 facelift if memory serves. I think that a pre-MY11 tailgate and bumper has been procured from a dismantler - possibly from the same scrap car - and painted up as required to match - hence the wrong handle and badging for the red car and the wrong bumper for the black car. . |

I like the way the high level brake light is held in place with gaffer tape.

A harsh and ill founded criticism Sir… the gaffer tape is absolutely not holding the high level brake light in place at all… … it is quite clearly holding the spoiler in place. All "repaired fully to manufacturing standards" doncha know. |
