yes its a good idea, but could be in same position (button fault), there are plenty on Ebay second hand, tbh it may come to that, just had a reply from Britcar that the buttons are out of stock and have been on back order for a while.

Hi Andy yup every single recomendation on this post i have tried, it seems they all have stock online, but when you query the switch, they then say "Ah very sorry, these are on back order with no ETA"

Looking at the back of the Evoque switch it has the same 4 pin plug as the FL2? it maybe possible to change the front shroud over or use as is till a replacement can be found, all these switches appear to be made in Egypt and Malta !

If its true what the dealer said about these no longer being made is very worrying. Shocked 2013 FL2 XS.
