key fob receiver problem

Hi all. Some days ago my son tried to pull the key fob without beeing in parking mode. From then, whenever i stop the engine and pull the fob out, I get a beep sound and the message "key in the ignition" as it does not recognize that the key is out. Also the green lights on the left and right of the fob receiver stay on until I lock the car. Is it a damage from the violent try or a message that can be fixed? Sorry for my English.

It's probably damaged either the key or the docking module in the dash or both. The key MUST NEVER be pulled out, it MUST be allowed to eject by pressing in it first. Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

Had a dodgy docking station at work today on one of our courtesy cars pulled it out and after taking it apart found the cogs had got a bit jammed up stripped and cleaned it seems to be good as new now not hard to remove or take apart to inspect either.

You have courtesy cars at your bicycle repair shop. How accommodating is that
