Starting a new thread on this because original post was misleading.
During the recent icy weather my front parking sensors started beeping almost continuously when reverse selected.
Diagnostics showed one sensor was dead. I have now changed it for a new one. But the fault persists. Watching the distance readings from the front sensors, they all read ok at about 1.6m until I increase the revs just above idle, then one of the sensors shows a shorter distance ( about 0. and triggers the constant beep, if the new sensor is fitted, it is this one that triggers, if i swap its position the fault moves with it. However, if I remove the new sensor and fit the old dead one, one of the other 3 sensors reacts to the increased revs and triggers the beep.
I have double checked the wiring loom continuity, and tried a battery disconnect to reset the system.
Voltage at idle is 14.2 and increased revs raises it to 14.3v which triggers the beep.
Not sure of a way forward now. Anyone got any ideas.

Have you removed the airbox and closely inspected the loom that sits right below it?

No I have not. Is this a common problem.?

Hi, yes sorry, I posted the solution on a different thread. In the beginning, one sensor was reading as faulty using the fault reader, so I changed it but did not cure the problem. It turns out that one of the other sensors was breaking down under increased voltage. Stupidly I discounted this possibility because the first sensor read faulty but all the others seemed normal. I only found it because I had tried everything else. So changed the 3 remaining sensors one at a time.

Thanks for the reply, my sensors stopped beeping/working with just the flashing light on the button above the radio, I put a reader on and it showed front right inner sensor not working, I replaced that sensor and now when I select reverse it's just a constant beep, I plugged the reader in again and deleted the old code, read it again and there's no fault codes showing, I'm in the middle of doing a hard reset now to see if that might help, really no clue what to do next if the reset doesn't work.

I'll do what you've said and inspect the full loom thats there in the front bumper, appreciate the input thanks again. 👍

If you find any signs of damage. The water gets inside the insulation and corrodes the wire, making it very difficult to repair. Also difficult to trace all the breaks caused. I would advise buying a used loom off eBay. They usually come with a set of sensors fitted. Which is handy as they fit the rear as well. Let me know how you get on.

Thats a good idea about the new loom, I'll see if I can find one.
