Condensation inside front screen only

my 2013 fl2 has recently been getting terrible condensation on the screen on the inside, so bad that i use a chamois to wipe it down each morning. I have checked the front drain flaps, both OK. under foot well mats is dry, no musty smells. but constant soaking wet screen, and the last few mornings ice on the inside.
Suggestions on how water is getting in and possible solutions please

Water runs down to the rear foot wells. Pull out the vent under the seat & push your hand down & to the rear as best as possible to feel for water. The carpet won't feel wet as it is synthetic. The vent self locates when pushing it back in.

Is the air conditioning drain pipe broken or off, maybe blocked.

Do you use the air conditioning most of the time, summer & winter. It dries out the air. Procrastination, mankind's greatest labour saving device!

Not a fix obviously but I have found silica bags deal with excess moisture well - got some for my Mum who was having similar problems (wasn't worth me investigating the source of the moisture as she was waiting for her new Fiesta to be delivered)

I got a pair of 2kg ones from ebay for around £15 with colour spot indicator for when they need drying (radiator/oven whatever) - not a fix as I say but they should deal with your moisture in the interim Thumbs Up 2014 Freelander 2 TD4 Manual Dynamic

I had this too but found that that the front floor was wet as the tray that slots into the windscreen was adrift for about a foot along its length in the middle. Thus the scuttle then filled with water and ended up on the floor.

I did check the air con drain and it wasn’t that and is not going to come loose that easily….
