Not helpful in this case, but the horns did fail on our FL2 - filled with mud.

Have a look at the loom under the airbox, they often cut through there, might save taking the bumper off. |

I have rodent bait inside the engine of the FL2 all year round after having two vehicles disabled the same night by rodents, luckily not the FL2.
