United Kingdom 2012 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Barolo Black
Lights

Recently got 2012 Freelancer 2.. It has led driving lights in clusters of seven. One of these is dead. You can't seem to buy new bulb. How do you fix?

United Kingdom 2009 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Zermatt Silver

As far as I know you have to buy the complete unit. Now at the point when I learn something new something old is lost out the other side !
Now retired so it doesn't matter anymore.
Freelander now gone.

Assume you mean the round DRL built into the headlight?

Not sure if these are replaceable separately, take the headlight unit out to check, dead easy 2 10mm bolts and 1 clip has it removed.

Do you also have the 'signature' light strips which are illuminated when just sidelights are switched on?
I have often thought of disabling the round led part and just leaving the signature lights as drl / sidelights.

Powerfuluk do various fog lights with built in drls which would be cheaper than replacing a full headlight if they can't be replaced. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948
