I am trying to remember is it a lot easier if the jubilee clip is put on so it's more accessible but a sod if it's not |

Everything to do with working on these motors (except changing the headlight bulbs) is an epic fight |

Is it easy to do if car is on lift, just had genuine hose assembly fitted by my local garage, and pretty sure they didn’t remove half the car . |

The last time I worked on a car was circa 1980 changing the slipper on the timing chain of my MGB GT in the rain. I swore that I would never again dirty my hands and suffer bruised and cut knuckles and to this day have relied on professionals to do the dirty work. |

When also time is taken in to account, which is always longer then is thought it would be because of not knowing what to do. It’s often better to do some overtime and pay someone else who knows better then what I do. |

Much prefer using my own 'free' time and don't mind getting my hands dirty. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

Have to agree with this paying someone else to do the work. Did it when I was young and brassic, now I’m wiser and a bit better heeled , 🤬 the spanner’s plus I lift the bonnet and struggle to recognise anything on modern motors. |

Unfortunately the garage is so busy with your cars that the earliest date they could do it was the 10th January! This is Dad’s only means of transport thus it became a necessity!
