Hi folks, I maybe should have put this up in the welcome forum, but thought I'd post here.

I've just finished chatting with Martin over expanding my sponsorship of the forums. I was only over on Disco3, but I now sponsor D3, RRS and FL2. Sorry for the same posting across the forums.

I run and operate JKP Detail, a detailing service covering mainly central Scotland, but have worked on cars over the UK. Services I offer range from simple external protection details to full paint correction. Interior work from a simple vacuum to full leather clean and protection treatment. I also offer Monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly maintenance contracts that can be tailored to what you want.

I also run an on-line shop, which I will be changing soon, but I carry a range of cleaning products from shampoo's and mitts to claybars and wax/sealants. My main range is Dodo Juice, as I am an authorised detailer with them and rate their products highly. I use their products for detailing and on my own vehicles.

I have just bought some products of JKP the other week via the D3 forum

I can say it was a great service and a great price too

I got a couple of bottles of Dodo Juice Red Mist (tropical), which is a spray sealant, which I have read gives very very good results in the way of shine and water beading.

I would like to say i had used it this weekend, but the caravan site had a no washing rule

I would love my Fl2 detailing and sealing 33k miles now, massive build up of tar and film on door bottoms etc. and plenty of swirling despite having a valet every month.

used the Dodo Juice Red Mist I got from JKP tonight

Gives the car a wet looking gloss and shines great.

I got the Tropical version which gives a longer time to spray on and spread until it no longer smears and buff to a shine. Its one of the best products I have in my large collection of car detailing stuff

My 3yr old said it looks like a mirror whilst pulling faces at himself, but said mummys car (a metalic silver punto) is dirty as he can't see himself in it... guess i am going to be busy soon  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

he use's a pressure hose then chamois it of dunno what else he does-it looks like new when he's finnished til my first trip out of our village then it's up again.

I presume he uses sponge aswell to actually wipe the body work with some shampoo

If not than the chamois is drying and scraping the tiny particles of dirt leaving swirls that they have missed with the jet wash

I keep thinking about Machine polishing my dad Lexus for him as that quite swirly, but he takes it to the Kosovan car wash, every week or two, which just pressure wash it with harsh chemicals, wipe the whole car down without rinsing the sponge, then use a aqua blade and a unwash chamois to dry it, and i think they use oil as tire blackener as it splatered all over the side of his car by the time he gets home. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Glad your liking the Tropical Red Mist

It is a very good product, and easy to use. I've got to admit to being lazy with my own cars. They get a wash and red mist single coat applied. I must have about 6 layers on the van and not even squashed bugs stick on and are easily removed during a quick wash.

I got just one layer on, and if a few more will stop the bug sticking like super glue i need to get a few more on  Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

yeh he use's a sponge and a tooth brush for the wheels.

I think I need some of this red mist stuff-I've got bugs that are stuck on the front that ain't moving-shame I can't be arsed to do it myself
