I’m changing discs pads and flexible hoses and I have stupidly run the reservoir too low when bleeding the system, so sucked a load of air in. I had bought an excess of fluid just in case and have bled it through till no bubbles. However, are there any traps that might have got air stuck. And what is the preferred order for bleeding. I may have some fluid left and figure bleeding again won’t do any harm.

The pedal feels a little soft to my mind (not finished yet, so car on jack and done 3 out of 4.

Often with modern vehicles, the ABS pump needs to be activated to pump out any air stuck in the ABS modulator. For this reason it's recommended to never allow the reservoir to become empty.
You can try pumping out the air with the pedal, but if the pedal remains very spongy, then it could well have air trapped in the modulator.

Also don't forget that new pads and rotors will need to bed in, before full pedal resistance is felt.  Hyundai Ioniq 5 Ultimate. The family car.

If you've allowed air into the ABS system then I think you will need help bleeding it - as the ABS system needs to be bleed electronically

Some code readers can activate the ABS pump for bleeding - for example the Foxwell NT has this, and I seem to recall the iCarsoft might also be able to do this but it's a while since I had one of the latter. Otherwise it's off to an indy or dealer to use their kit to activate the pump and bleed the brakes. Current driveway contents:

Damn! That’s what I feared. I’d some recollection of hearing that. I have a foxwell nt 401, but it seems to have limited functionality.

Always knew that hill decent mode would come in handy. Hmm, expect it uses the brakes. .

You still have a handbrake, but I suppose it depends upon how steep and busy the hill is. Jules

Well, just so you know, you can bleed the air out yourself. I’ve got an ezi bleed with non-return. Did it on my own. Pushed it through quickly. 10 pumps, top up, 10 pumps. Pushed at least half a litre through each one.

Brakes are the best they’ve ever been. Bite fast and hold. Improving as they bed in.

Car was 24,000 miles when bought and the brakes have always been poor.

Changing pads and discs and flexible hoses had made a great improvement. OE everything so no spec change. Hoped for but didn’t expect the improvement! Happy days.
