When I bought mine one of the sidesteps was actually just resting on the brackets on the drivers side, I had driven from East Midlands to Cornwall with the step unattached!

Mine was loose on passengers' side so took them off (3 bolts each side) and reset then into the brackets and put bolts back in. This sorted it. |
