coolant tank full of oil !! help,,,

as title says, car running perfectly but noticed oily patch on ground and when i popped bonnet there was oil all over left hand side of engine,
when i opened water expansion tank it was full of jet black oil,,,, i think my oil cooler has ruptured? cant think of anything else,, doesnt over heat and ticks over lovely, apart fom having no oil showing on dipstick,,, any advice would be greatly appreciated Crying or Very sad
