Years a go I repainted my headliner Think it was a Vauxhall Viva with special paint. Looked good but the smell was almost unbearable for a week after. |

i'll look into it i guess. i figured it would look shoddy, but it would also save me the headache of dealing with thin fabric and glue.. odds of having imperfections are 100% for me lol https://www.youtube.com/c/HeelTow |

Very detailed and helpful thanks! Confirmed the part number for me as well much appreciated! I'm used to my cars being pretty loud in the cabin and I don't have anything done to the car. i don't carry anything on the roof and my offroad usage is very limited. As an untouched road going vehicle I find they are pretty damn quiet as is. I have to imagine your intention here was to dampen sound since you seem to travel quite a bit on unpaved roads and carry a lot on the roof? Not for any audiophile purposes I imagine The car camping is going to be fairly infrequent for me, but knowing how to best utilize the space is key especially travelling with a dog. Surprised to see someone has actually gone to the depth you have to figure that out. https://www.youtube.com/c/HeelTow |

Thanks i'm not sure how, but this sent me down a terrible rabbit hole. I expect to get flamed once I have it installed and I blame you in advance. https://www.youtube.com/c/HeelTow |

I finally got around to installing the headliner. I ran into one issue when reinstalling and that was getting the overhead console (dome light) to snap back into place. I seem to be able to get close, but cannot get the front two clips to secure. I can't tell if the clips are grabbing on the fabric or maybe i've warped the headliner frame ever so slightly and that is all it takes (looks square to me). Right now I have a fabulous zip tie job going on to keep the front side almost in, but was wondering if anyone has come across this issue and has a better method to properly secure the console. Thanks! https://www.youtube.com/c/HeelTow |
