We tow a 1500kg caravan which is loaded to its limit, I'm very careful about the weight distribution in the van and have the nose weight as close as I can get to 100kg. Car tows it perfectly, in fact I have to keep my on the speedo as it will easily creep over the legal limit. Absolutely no issues stopping it either when some idiot in front does something stupid. You should be fine
