Bob- AF dont supply the combined unit (I rang them just to check). But Craddocks (£200) and Island4X4 (£170) do . https://www.island-4x4.co.uk/drivetrain-wh..._2853.html Jules |

Thanks Jules think the complete item is the easiest option, don't want to mess about with pressing bearing in and out, the dedicated hub puller would be ideal but for diy use can't justify cost. Landrover - turning owners into mechanics since 1948

You may want to consider also getting knuckle bolt LR000073 and drive shaft retainer bolt LR000577 from AF though. Not expensive. Jules |

Also a lower arm ball joint extractor is worth having or there is a workaround in the movie from 4.05 on but not tried it myself

Jules The movie as you can see is of a Volvo, the Hub and bearing come out together, however on the Freelander there is a circlip preventing this. The hub comes out with part of the bearing. The part left in then needs to be either pressed or drawn out. So I think you need two different types of kit one to pull the hub and one to pull the bearing. |

Odd My Manual shows a circlip. It says that the bearing will be damaged on removal

Rechecked and the £105 I paid was for the hub complete with bearing but not the knuckle. Apologies. FL2 SD4 XS 2013 Orkney Grey |
